INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

Installing HPGBS™ is fast and easy and can be performed by any reputable carpentry crew. Green-Source Products is committed to ensuring a successful installation of our product and will send an installation manual, customized to your project specifications along with delivery of our product. If desired, we can send a representative to your project site for training.

INSTALLING HPGBS™ WALL PANELS (TO FOUNDATION OR FLOOR SYSTEM)

1Utilizing the installation manual, snap a chalk line on the perimeter sill in which to install the metal angle or metal track. Make sure corners are square to the foundation.
2Apply your favorite sill sealer around perimeter of the building.
3Secure the Angle or Metal track to the wood sill with fastener according to design.
4Insert wall panels into base angle or track plates, and tilt in to a vertical position. Screw through the angle of track into the panel tubes. Two screws per tube.
5Plumb wall and provide temporary bracing.
6Fasten wood top plate (if required) to the steel angles on top of the wall making sure to stagger the wall and top plate joints.
7Continue process around perimeter as labeled on the installation drawings. Each panel is marked as per the direction of installation.
8Make sure you follow the installation method utilizing specified materials and fasteners.

INSTALLING HPGBS™ ROOF PANELS

1Install beam support system as required by design.
2Install continuous beam roof bracket on top of beam with fasteners to design.
3Install continuous up-lift bracket to inside top of wall with fasteners to design.
4Place roof panels in position bearing on top of wall and resting on ridge beam. (Crane may be required). Panels will be labeled for installation.
5Fasten the roof tubes to the up-lift brackets on top of wall, and beam roof brackets with fasteners as required by design.
6Connect roof panels together by applying ridge cap to outside top of roof with fasteners by design.
7Attach continuous fascia board bracket and Simpson Strong Tie® TS up-lift strap to extended roof panel tubes to form roof eave.
8Attach fascia board to fascia board bracket.
9Fill any gaps between wall and roof panels, or at panel seams, with foam sealer.
10Make sure you follow the installation method utilizing specified materials and fasteners.

The Installation Manual we provide with our panels is customized for each project and contains easy to understand, step by step instructions.
